St Saviour IMs help Megan on her travels

Girl Guide Megan Cockerill, 14, of Strensall, York, has been selected from 60 other girls, to take part in an International Project in Finland Estonia and Latvia.
Now the hard bit, Megan has to raise £1,400 to cover the cost of her trip.

She approached the St Saviour Lodge of Installed Masters, No 8433, of York, to see if they could help with her fundraising.
The Lodge members immediately donated £100 and they then sought some more support, from the Provincial Grand Charity of the Province of Yorkshire North & East Ridings (PGC). The PGC came up with another £250 to help towards Megan’s target.

StSaviourThe photograph shows Megan receiving a cheque for £350 from W Bro Dave Gibson.

It is hoped that Megan will come back and let us know how her trip went.

Good luck Megan and well done the Brethren of St Saviour Lodge of Installed Masters and the Provincial Grand Charity.
