Local Freemasons boost Workington Sea Cadets with £500 donation

Cumberland and Westmorland Freemasons have donated five hundred pounds to the Workington Sea Cadets. This charity has been selected because it delivers an important service for the youth of the local area valued by Freemasons.

Speaking about the donation Norman J. Thompson, DL, the Provincial Grand Master for the Province of Cumberland and Westmorland said, “We are delighted to show our support for the Workington Sea Cadets. Charitable giving is central to Freemasonry and the Cumberland and Westmorland Freemasons are socially happy to support organisations that give back to our local community.

Every year the Freemasons of Cumberland and Westmorland support many local organisations and charities by giving of their time and money.
