Hadrian Lodge (no. 5216) walk Hadrian’s Wall

Event date: 2016-04-09

On Saturday 9th April four members of Hadrian Lodge 5216 completed a charity walk across the entire length of Hadrians Wall to raise funds towards the 2016 RMBI Festival. The walk took four days and stretches 84 miles but with the several diversions which are in place along the way it ended up being 89.5 miles. Five brethren set off but one brother had to pull out along the way due to severe feet injuries. A special thankyou must be given to Hexham, Haltwhistle and Carlisle Freemasons who allowed us to stay overnight in their Halls along the way. Also a big thankyou to the Brethren who helped us with transport from and back to the wall. But most of all thankyou to all who have made donations and made all this worth while, we haven’t calculated the total yet as money is still coming in,but as soon as we know we will let you know and send it to the Grand Charity.

Thank you all sincerely,

Kindest Regards,
