Freemasons make donation to Carmarthen Youth Project

On Thursday 3rd November 2016, The , RW Bro Stephen D Hookey, was delighted to present a cheque for £2500 to Carmarthen – Dr M’z.

This much needed boost to their funds will be used to replace outdated equipment and software.

RW Bro Stephen Hookey said:

“The of West are delighted to be able to support this very worthy cause. Dr M’z has been quietly supporting the young people of Carmarthenshire for over 20 years and we are all grateful for their excellent work.”

Dr.M’z is a youth drop in centre run by Carmarthen Youth Project for young people aged 11-25. They provide a comfortable, safe, informative and stimulating place for young people to meet. Carmarthen Youth Project aims to promote the best interests of young people (aged 11 – 25) from Carmarthen and the surrounding rural areas.

This is achieved by providing a safe, educational, informative and stimulating leisure environment for young people to meet and interact. They assist young people to develop their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual capacities and aim to empower young people to become mature and fully integrated members of society.
